· Counting: Forwards from 0 - 20/Backwards
from 20 - 0 (start on different numbers)
· Number Line: What is before/between/after? e.g. What
number is before 6? What number is between 4 and 6? What number is after 4?
· Gaeilge: If you had fun revising Caitheamh

three different sounds, /sh/, /ch/ and /th/. Remember these three all make

· Tricky Words: Go back over the Tricky Words we have
done so far.

· When you are reading/listening to the stories, we still want
you to keep making connections and predictions. This week we are still focusing
on Self-Questioning (The children have done this before). Self-Questioning
means that you are thinking of questions before, during and
after reading to help understand what you are reading. You might say
things like
· I wonder…
· Do I understand that part of the story?
· Could I explain it to somebody else?’

Workbook: Open your book at home and do the next
1 or 2 pages. Remember your proper pencil grip.
· Maths Challenge of the Week:
Ms. Walsh had 10 sweets altogether. She gave 3 to Ms. Fitzgibbon
and 3 to Mrs. Dixon. How many sweets did Ms. Walsh have left? Use your number line to help or draw a picture.
· Oral Language Game: Look at each photo and answer the following
questions:
- Where do you think this photo was taken?
-What do you think is happening in the photo?
-Who do you think the people are?
-What do you think they are talking/thinking about?
